If you were expecting a sub Fame or HSM type tale, well think again. This is a superb piece of dance based film making. The moves are utterly spectacular, and clearly the main reason for most teens tuning in. However, alongside the moves there is a surprisingly involving back story dealing with the main character's attempts to rebuild her life after an attack that left her best friend dead.

Two of my children are dancers and they confirmed that the moves are 'awesome' but they thought the film wouldn't have worked unless the back story was one they were interested in. I hope that the film gets a lot of attention as it is more deserving of it than the other dance themed movies I mentioned.
